Employees can receive an electronic W2 form from Self Service.

*Employees can consent to printing their W2 form using Self Service – My W2 Consent [WEPW2].
*Employees can withdraw the consent to receive electronic W2 forms using Self Service – My W2 Consent [WEPW2].
*Employers can manage the consent for employees to receive electronic W2 forms using the Maintain Employees W2 Consent form [IEPW2].
*The electronic W2 form [REW2] will be available in Self Service for the current year, as well as previous years.
*Employers control which years are available for the employees to print with the Preference [EE_W2_GVT_RUN(System_Preference)].
*If an employee has chosen to receive electronic W2 forms, using the consent forms [WEPW2] or [IEPW2], then the paper copy of the W2 will not be printed during the W2 printing process [RPW2].
Employees can receive an electronic W2 form through Self Service.

In the Self Service system, employees need to determine if they want to receive electronic W2 forms. If they choose to, then they must enter their consent in the My W2 Consent form [WEPW2] or the employer must turn on this consent, on behalf of the employee, in the [IEPW2] form.
The employee will need to print the W2 form [REW2], selecting the year they want to report.
The output from the W2 Print form [REW2] will be in a pdf file.

Users must setup the Maintain Client Site Information form [IMST] – Preference tab. The Preference EE_W2_GVT_RUN should be defined with the values of the GVT Run numbers that contain the information for employee’s W2s (from the [RPYEU] run. These GVT Run numbers must be entered with comma separators.

* Employees must print the W2 form [REW2], and select the Reporting Year they want to print. The output of the W2 Print form REW2 will be in a pdf file.
* If an employee has chosen to receive electronic W2 forms, using either the consent WEPW2 or IEPW2 form, a paper copy is NOT printed during the RPW2 W2 printing process.

Users must define the EE_W2_GVT_RUN System Preference on the Maintain Client Site Information [IMST] form, on the Preference Tab, the with the values of the GVT Run numbers that contain the information for the employees' W2s (from the [RPYEU] run).
The GVT Run numbers must be entered with comma separators and no spaces, such as 1234,3333,4567.
