At line 3 changed one line
If defined, the value should be set to <<Y>> (no quotes). Once set to <<Y>>, the change reason is "read only" on the defined screens and can only be changed in the pop up.
If Y the change reason will be blanked out when entering the Effective Date Dialog.

In addition, that pop up is set to blank and if the [Set Change Reason Object Security|SET CHANGE REASON OBJECT SECURITY] instructions are followed, the change reason will be made mandatory.
This is used along with Object Security to force that a new change reason is entered every time the effective date is changed.
